MCGD FEE SCHEDULE-EFFECTIVE APRIL 1, 1996
Delayed Payment Penalty:
Bills for service rendered are due and payable upon receipt; however if payment is not received by the due date, a 10% penalty is assessed. At this time a delinquent noticed is mailed to the customer. This notice reflects to the customer the amount past due and the service interruption date, if the payment is not received.
The Gas District requires a deposit of $75.00 for residential houses and a deposit of $100.00 for residential mobile homes. The Gas District requires commercial and industrial customers, to establish and maintain a deposit in an amount not less than two times the actual highest prior monthly billing to customer, or if no actual service has been provided to the customer at the location, in an amount two times the estimated highest monthly future billing for the customer at the location as is determined by the Gas District. The Gas Deposit shall be either in the form of: (A} Cash or other certified funds; (B} an Irrevocable Standby Letter of Credit, issued by a financial institution approved by the Gas District, and in a form acceptable to the Gas District; or (C} a Surety Bond issued in a form and by a Surety acceptable to the Gas District.
Account Setup Fee:
There will be a $10.00 fee for setting up a new account.
There will be a $10.00 fee for transfer of services.
Return Check Fee:
There will be an $30.00 fee for each return check.
Broken Lock Fee:
There will be a $20.00 fee for each broken meter lock.
There will be a $10.00 fee for each meter that has to be reread if the reading is correct.
After Hours Service Charge:
After regular business hours and during holidays and weekends, services for non-emergency calls will be $50.00.
Discontinuance of Service Charge:
There will be a $30.00 fee for reconnection within sixty (60) days of discontinuance of service and a $50.00 fee for reconnection after sixty (60) days of discontinuance of service.
