During this constantly shifting COVID-19 situation, I wanted to reach out and let you know what Marshall County Gas District is doing during this time to keep operations as normal as possible. We know this is a difficult time and we are committed to continuing to provide natural gas during this time of uncertainty.
While this situation is continually evolving, Marshall County Gas District wants you to know that you have our commitment to continue to provide natural gas reliably and safely. We do not anticipate there being any disruption to your services.
The Marshall County Gas District offices will be following the recommendations of the CDC, State and Federal Government. As of now, the following changes are outlined below.
While our office lobbies may be closed to the public, the drive-thru is open normal business hours for all transactions. We offer an online payment and pay by phone. If you need help with paying online or by phone, please contact your local office.
Marshall County Gas District employees will be following all government recommendations including social distancing and personal protective equipment when interacting with each other and customers. For more information on how to best protect yourself and others, please visit CDC.gov
We will continue to keep you informed as the situation evolves. We are all in touch with our fellow public natural gas systems to exchange best practices for continued safe and reliable operations.

3/16/2020--Our top priority at MCGD is the health and safety of our employees and customers. As of March 16, 2020, all MCGD offices will only conduct business through the drive-thru. Our office lobbies will be closed. We will continue to operate normal business hours, Monday-Friday, 7:30-4:30. We strongly encourage you to utilize our website and pay by phone service. There is no charge to pay by phone or pay online. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact our offices during normal business hours. We are committed to keeping you informed through this rapidly changing situation.

Marshall County Gas District
Marshall County Gas District is a natural gas utility with a transmission and distribution system. The transmission system consists of 85 miles of pipeline, which runs from a connection point near Tarrant City in Jefferson County to a point near Scottsboro in Jackson County.
The distribution system provides natural gas to consumers in substantially all areas of Marshall County except the City of Boaz. We serve portions of Blount, Cullman, Etowah, Jackson, Jefferson, and Madison Counties.
Our mission is to provide you with a safe, reliable, and reasonably cost natural gas service. Our ongoing safety and damage prevention programs are designed to help you recognize, react to, and prevent unsafe conditions.
