Service Request

New Customers

All new customers who do not currently have an account with MCGD must appear in one of our offices to apply for service. New applicants must bring their driver’s license or non-driver’s ID as proof of identification and a copy of their lease if service is requested for a rental property. Homeowners should bring proof of ownership for the property where service is requested. The person requesting service must be the same person whose name appears on the lease. A deposit is required (see Deposits section), as well as a connection fee (see Fees Section) for all MCGD natural gas meters. These must be paid in full before service is connected.

The forms below may be printed and completed for when you come in to one of our locations to establish service.

Existing Customers

Transfer Service

Existing customers who wish to transfer service to a different location must appear in our office, pay a deposit and transfer fee and sign the service order. In addition, customers may be required to pay any past due amount owed at their current service location before the gas is connected at the new location.

Nonpayment Cutoff

Please call or come by our office during business hours. Do not call after business hours. The phone lines are for emergencies only after 4:30pm each business day, weekends and holidays.

Additional Service

Any existing customer who wishes to request additional service in their name must contact the office. No gas will be turned on without a written signature from the person requesting service.
