New Customers & Existing Customers Who Wish Transfer Services

Service may be established online or at one of our office locations. New applicants must have a driver’s license or non-driver’s ID as proof of identification. A copy of their lease, if service is requested for a rental property.  The person requesting service must be the same person whose name appears on the lease. A deposit is required (see Deposits section), as well as a connection fee (see Fees Section) for all MCGD natural gas meters. These must be paid in full before service is connected. If transferring service, customer may be required to pay any past due amounts.  All customers must have a service application and contract on file with the MCGD.
